Combine it with the right credit card and that 10% can easily become 12-13%. That's the best I can come up with.

Not sure for excursions, I don't think so. But definitely for Cheers...have done that once and getting ready to do it again. Effectively saves about 10% on cost of Cheers.

Definitely YES for excursions also. Purchased two with gift cards just a few days ago.

Basically, anything you can pre-pay for online, including:

- cruise fare

- transfers

- excursions

- pre-paid gratuities

- FTTF

- fun shop purchases, including:

-- Cheers

-- Bubbles

-- In-room food and drink

-- Stateroom decorations

-- Pixels packages

-- Cruise Cash/Bar Cash

Yes, you can use them for grats, cruise fare, Cheers, excursions, Bottomless Bubbles, Pixels packages, ANYTHING that Carnival offers.

I used some to pay for my excursions. You can even use them to pay off your cruise.
