OBC for bring a 1st time cruiser to Celebrity

do you still get OBC for bring a 1st time Celebrity cruiser on a cruise

SIL wants to book a cruise that we have booked and they have never cruised with Celebrity

 

I have tried search their website but could not find anything

Never heard of that, but wish it were so and retroactive. I've brought along quite a few new cruisers in the short time I've been cruising.

I know Azamara and Viking Ocean give OBC for a referral booking but to my knowledge Celebrity doesn’t.

I believe if you book on board and want to include others on your sailing they will get the same OBC for booking on board. That's the only thing I've heard of. Doesn't help here I know.

I think the OP may be confusing Celebrity with another line. There’s no such promotion on Celebrity AFAIK.

Indeed they do, have tested this one and know it to be factual.

I've booked several new cruisers on Celebrity and asked each time - nope, no onboard credit for bringing in new cruisers. That has been my experience 3 times now.

RCCL does this because I got $25 last November when she joined us on a TA

 

I guess I will have phone Captain Club and ask

Let us know, but I think you will find that this is one of those things that is done differently on the two cruise lines.

if you book through a T/A they might have a deal that has OBC as a perk
