pvbmom Posted June 7, 2018 #27 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Did everyone board in Barcelona for your cruise or had some passengers originated in Rome? If there were already passengers on board from Rome, were you able to go to your cabins before 1:00 to drop off your carry on pieces? Or were the hallways blocked off to the cabins? Thank you in advance. Enjoy your cruise!

We got off for a couple of hours about 11.00am for a walk round Citivecchia and there were only about twenty passengers waiting to check in. When we returned nobody was there. We never saw any luggage outside stateroom doors. In Barcelona we arrived at the port at 10.30 were checked in by 10.40 and they started boarding at 10.55. It was just so easy and superbly organised. Norwich Cruiser Posted June 7, 2018 Author #29 Share Posted June 7, 2018 Do you know if there's a late disembarkation on arrival at Barcelona, with a fee, of course Many thanks We've had the disembarkation forms but there was no mention of a late departure. That's quite unusual for Mediterranean cruises but maybe not offered on the larger ships.
racerxspeedy Posted June 7, 2018 #30 Share Posted June 7, 2018 I am interested in your thoughts on the shows onboard. Can you take a picture and post the "Showtimes At a Glance" handout if possible? Is there a second "no reservation" Ice and Water show? Thanks in advance!

Norwich Cruiser Posted June 8, 2018 Author #36 Share Posted June 8, 2018 How much is the drinking package onboard? Do the Hairspray singers have a night where they sing favorite broadway tunes in a lounge (enjoyed this on Allure years back with Cats singers). Do they offer a tour of Central Park with horticulturist? Thanks for offering but no worries on getting the answers if a hassle, just curious Sent from my iPhone using Forums Not sure how much the drinks package was on board we have always found it cheaper to pre book. A few Hairspray singers did an impromptu few songs in Dazzles a couple of nights ago. Nothing yet about another scheduled performance of songs by them. Haven't seen a tour with horticulturalist of Central Park advertised.
Norwich Cruiser Posted June 8, 2018 Author #37 Share Posted June 8, 2018 Could you look up the height/weight restrictions on board? I know the zip line is 275 pounds but couldn't find anything about the water slides, Ultimate Abyss and rock climbing.Enjoy your cruise! DrD Posted June 8, 2018 #41 Share Posted June 8, 2018 You are very kind to be answering all these questions! Is there a late debarkation option in Rome? I've been told they sometimes offer this, since they don't have to turn the whole ship over. And my other question is, how happy are you right now!!! I've been told they sometimes offer this, since they don't have to turn the whole ship over. And my other question is, how happy are you right now!!! I will check the late debarkation for you tomorrow as just back in stateroom it's 00.55 here just seen the new Flight show which we all thought was very good pleased we made the effort to fit it in. How happy are we right now? We've had a great cruise excellent cruise and food. Cruise Director ( although they do not make or break our cruises) and staff were all very good preferred one or two of the shows on Harmony though. But only our opinion am sure others may disagree. Boardwalk really has come alive in the evenings on this cruise with much live music and dancing. Jazz on four we've only made it to once but had a good hour or so in there. Dazzles we really enjoyed. But to answer your question sad 😭 it's nearly over.

Journey2016 Posted June 9, 2018 #49 Share Posted June 9, 2018 I enjoyed looking for the little wonders on other ships, but there are none on the Symphony. The sports bar (Playmakers) was showing a lot of sports, but the time difference makes it difficult. We wanted to watch the Stanley Cup finals, but the games didn't begin here until 2 am. pvbmom Posted June 9, 2018 #50 Share Posted June 9, 2018 Thank you for taking the time to answer all our questions! Did you by any chance ever hear the piano player in the Schooner Bar or the guitar player in the pub? Did they draw a good crowd and have people singing along with them? Thanks again for your time.
