SS Catherine Uniworld Question

Flying out tomorrow to join the ship on Sunday in Lyon. Random question as I pack my stuff; does the ship have an iron in the laundry room? I just read that it doesn't and it is going to impact what I pack.

While I can’t say with 100% accuracy, I recently returned from the SS Marie Theresa, the sister ship, and there was indeed a great steam/dry iron in the laundry room. As a matter of fact, there also was one on their newest ship as well.

In general, you are prohibited from bringing your own iron because they can be a fire hazard.

every other Uniworld ship I have been on has had an iron. For some reason a review I just read on the Catherine mentions a lack of iron. I was trying to figure out if I bring my no iron shirts or something less ugly :)

The Joie had an iron in the laundry room. And, the Antoinette did last year. I'm not sure why the Catherine would be different.

Yes, just got off a week ago. a "huge" iron and holder with the ironing board in the laundry room. was well used on the first day.
