jbrooksodh Posted June 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I have a question about age to have a room booked by yourself. Is it 21? My daughter will be 20 next year and we may add her to a cruise we are planning. If she (and college roommate who is also 20) decide to go can I book them a room together? Or do I have to split my wife and I up and just get extra room keys? Not a huge deal but would be a little easier to just book the rooms the way we intend to split them up! Clarea Posted June 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2018 If they are both 21 by the time of the cruise, there are no restrictions, they can be in any stateroom by themselves. Royal will allow you to book guests under 21 together in the same stateroom as long as that stateroom is next to or across the hall from the responsible adult. You have to call to do this, you cannot do this on the website.
Biker19 Posted June 28, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Or do I have to split my wife and I up and just get extra room keys? If you have Emerald and up C&A status you may want to split up so both cabins get any potential C&A related discount.

For the OP that link was lost 1+ year ago, so maybe not the same level.
Rare brillohead Posted June 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 28, 2018 For anyone else reading this with the same question (doesn't apply to OP's situation, though), the age limits are waived for married people and members of the military.
