The med in october

I don't like it too hot. so when I go to the Med it is always in spring or autumn. I went on a cruise there in October a couple of years ago, and for the most part it was very pleasant. There's obviously more risk of rain than there would be in high summer, though. One big advantage is that everywhere is a lot less crowded than in summer. I think in most ports we were the only cruise ship there.

Have now done 4 Med cruises in October in the last 5 years. Generally warm, gentle breezes. Very pleasant and not too hot.

Occasional squally days, but we've had little rain. Of course, past experience is not guarantee of future performance . . . .

Absolutely, how long is a piece of string. been in the Med on a sailing boat in October and had some lovely weather and some storms. Done the same on a cruise ship and also had some good and some bad.
