Rare KKB Posted July 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2018 LOL--there is NOTHING cheap about Key West!!
CT Sean Posted July 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Prices aren't all that different. Cheap drinks are generally low quality drinks unless all you want is beer. Look for drink specials which are common when ships are in port.
Langoustine Posted July 24, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Go to Captain Tony's Saloon, a bar located at 428 Greene Street. It isn't actually a dive bar (or cheap), but it looks like one...
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted July 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2018 A historic dive bar in Key West would be the Green Parrot. Their slogan is, "No sniveling allowed." Check greenparrot.com for directions and more info.
Rare L1211 Posted July 25, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2018 If you’re cheap and like to drink, you’ll love this tip! I did a spring break cruise with my college age kids. In Key West, they found $1 ice cold can beers at the Auntie Ann’s pretzel shop and bought several for walking around sight seeing beers. Hard to beat that!! Enjoy Key West. What a great stop!! RB Bonzo Posted August 12, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 12, 2018 Look for newspaper boxes w/ coupons. Lots of 2 for 1 coupons around. For a "dive bar" fee, try Captain Tony's or Schooner Wharf.

Add on to the scavenger hunt: find the topless beach near the Chartroom!
