Hi guys

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone for your kind words they are much appreciated. The wee man is bouncing back with each day that pasts, a few more weeks of iron tablets and his blood count will be back to normal.

We literally had to jump on these two cruises because no matter the ship or date we checked all the accessible cabins were booked up, at least on this one we keep the same cabin for both cruises so should be able to leave our luggage in the room and just present ourselves coming the change over time.

It’s a balcony overlooking Central Park so will be lovely listening to the cricket noises in an evening.

All yesterday evening my phone was never off the boil with the son texting me something new he’d learned about the ship, kids what are they like..... texting when I’m only 10 yards away in another room. LOL

P.S. When it shows a triangle on the stateroom in the deck plan does this mean the room has a double bed sofa bed?

Here’s a thought, if it only has a love seat that converts to a bed can you request a proper sofa bed?

They don't change furniture, one would have to be booked in a stateroom that already has a sofa bed.

At time of booking I did ask this question but the representative for RCC didn’t know the answer as to whether it was a single chair that converts into a bed or a sofa that converts.

Meant to say we are flying in to Miami Int Airport the day before we sail and staying in one of the airport hotel for the night, can anyone advise how best to transfer up to the port, is getting the hotel to arrange a local taxi the cheapest method or should we look at a private taxi firm?

Flat rate taxi , airport to port, is around $27.
