Yes -- as long as it will fit through the scanner at the cruise terminal.

I bring a small 5 inch electric desk fan...easily fits in the suitcase. Gives me airflow when I need it, which is ALL NIGHT LONG.....

I just ordered a great little fan recently from Amazon for an upcoming cruise. It has a really small profile in my luggage. Small, lightweight. But it does a great job. You can charge it with a USB charger during the day when you're out and about and run it all night.

There is no black and white answer. Policy is up to cruise line, but ship's security has last word. All 'electronic" devices get a second look. Even if you sneak something through, room stewards are responsible to turn in prohibited items.
