cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Here are the snaps I took yesterday morning onboard Azamara on our wonderful visit to see her in Southampton. They’ll be in batches. Sent from my iPad using Forums

cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Deck 11, the slightly odd sign f’wd of the sunbathing area must work somehow, maybe by casting a shadow? The Pool Bar no longer has tables in front, just more sunbeds. (Thanks Riocca) Sent from my iPad using Forums
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted August 1, 2018 The dance floor in the Living Room is quite a bit smaller with the band area set back from the windows. The serving unit for Tapas is a little smaller too. Sent from my iPad using Forums
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted August 1, 2018 The Concierge desk on deck 4, where the future cruise desk is on Quest. This is the other side, where Shorex was on Quest. Behind that bulkhead is this corridor, leading to the new Outside cabins which will have little or no footfall. cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted August 1, 2018 The serving area of Mosaic is smaller but there are more seats. The ‘Art shop’ Is enclosed and has swapped sides with Mosaic. I quite like the look of that cosy corner with 4 seats. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
village77 Posted August 1, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Thanks Cinnamon. Everything looks lovely and March 20/19 will be here before we know it. Lynn
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted August 1, 2018 The area that has changed the most from Quest. We haven’t sailed on Journey so all my comparisons are to Quest. Personally we’re not gamblers but do love Trivia so the space is a great improvement in my eyes with the piano in the middle, no tv screen bulkhead and a lovely airy open feel. The chairs are a great deal better! Richard was speaking in front if the sliding doors which open to reveal the Future Cruise sales desks. Private conversations can be had and should shield the chat. Next to that is the Shorex desk. PS. Sorry for a double post of one photo. Sent from my iPad using Forums
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Discoveries Bar looked nice and bright. The MDR chairs are lighter in weight, following feedback that on the other ships they’re too heavy. Sent from my iPad using Forums
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #11 Share Posted August 1, 2018 It was lovely to see how the other half lives. I had not seen a suite before. Spursgirl Posted August 1, 2018 #12 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Thanks for posting the great pix Cinnamon. Particularly like the one of our friends, Pam and Mike. Great news that there is additional seating in Mosaic. But sorry that they have removed the tables in front of the Pool Bar. Enjoyed having a drink there under a parasol during our recent Quest cruise. Now really looking forward to seeing Pursuit for myself soon.
combine Posted August 1, 2018 #13 Share Posted August 1, 2018 But sorry that they have removed the tables in front of the Pool Bar. Enjoyed having a drink there under a parasol during our recent Quest cruise. . Yes many commented about that yesterday. I wonder if it will stay like that for long? As with everything, things can change!
santrah Posted August 1, 2018 #14 Share Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Thanks for the photos. I too am disappointed to see no tables and chairs at the pool bar...enjoyed having a drink there just before going for a shower etc on an evening. Felt ok sitting their in 'sweaty' clothes following a few hours on a lounger or after sightseeing. They were well used too. Edited August 1, 2018 by santrah Sp. excitedofharpenden Posted August 1, 2018 #16 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Thanks for the photos Corinne. As with others here there are things I really like and some tweaks needed. I like the look of those new OV cabin positions. I thought about perhaps switching to one, but just wonder how good a job they did with sound proofing them from their neighbour. Often the walls can be thinner. The Den looks a much more inviting area. I too will miss those tables at the Pool Bar and hopefully they will return there. That’s a hideous satellite antenna dome in a prime sunbathing spot on deck 11. Phil
150edmiston Posted August 1, 2018 #17 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Great pics thanks for posting. The furnishings look comfortable, and the colour scheme/decor looks very upmarket. I agree I will miss the tables at the pool bar. We've never had an issue getting loungers, so this is a little surprising. Also agree about the grotesque "Golf Ball on the Tee" on Deck 11. cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #18 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Making up an Ocean view cabin on deck 4. Glimpse of a balcony cabin. Sorry, don’t remember which deck. The new balcony tables. Lots of positive comments about these, a great improvement. Deck sockets, showing the new U.K. one. There are USB ports under the bedside lights also. One of the few baths in a CC Suite (I think). As we’ve never sailed in a suite I’m a little hazy on the categories above standard balcony. Sent from my iPad using Forums
cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #19 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Windows Cafe. Drink station on the right as you enter. Windows Bar, which will now need to be serving a lot more drinks. View of the Sunset area. Personally I like the extra space but the bar staff will need to be on their toes. Sent from my iPad using Forums

cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #22 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Aqualina then a walk the back way through to Prime C. The Infamous two tops next to one another. cinnamon Posted August 1, 2018 Author #23 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Remaining photos are of the lunch menu and food. It was the menu normally served to Agents when they visit.
