Spacecaydet Posted August 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Does anybody know if it's likely that you can find wireless access points to plug into with an ethernet cord in the cabins? Of course we'd have the voom package but just want to know if there is a way to get a steady and strong connection.

hapster85 Posted August 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2018 Some ships have Ethernet ports in the cabins, by the desk. No idea if they work. I've never tried. Presumably, they would have Internet access, if they are indeed live, and your Voom access code would work the same as it does at the the onboard Internet cafes. But like I said, I've never tried using those ports. Surely someone has, though.

They were put in while building these ships when there was no wireless... Remember days of Dial up?...

Ja2012 Posted August 1, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2018 It would take some know how but I bet you could setup a bridge. Even if it's a laptop with both ethernet and wifi. Connect to wifi and create a bridge between your wifi adapter and your ethernet adapter.
