Mini Suite on Breakaway, Getaway, Escape and Epic

I got upgraded to a mini suite on a cruise and it turned out to have a Bath Tub.. It was very hard my my wife and I to get in it. Does anyone know how I can tell if there is a Bath tub or shower in the mini suites on the Big ships.

Maybe you should just take a bath one at a time. The tubs aren't really built for two people.

Have a look at the NCL.com website then click on ships. The rooms are detailed for each ship.

Generally the older ships have a bathtub in the minisuite and the newer ones have showers, but check each ship.

I know the mini suites on the BA class has both(Not in the same room) so I was wondering the same thing for the same reason.

I was concerned about this also so I called NCL and was lucky to speak with someone very familiar with the Getaway. Our TA told me mini suites only had tubs. But wanted to confirm that with NCL, the agent I spoke with said that MB category on Getaway have showers. Bingo! We recently traveled on the Epic in a mini suite we had a MB and it was a fabulous shower. I love the Epic mini suite storage.

On the Escape (and I'd image all Breakaway+ class ships), there are family mini-suites with the bathtub, and then just regular mini-suites with a only a walk-in large shower.

Mini-suites category MA and MC have bathtubs, MB and MD have shower.

Most mini-suites have shower. Not sure which categories have bathtub - possibly some family ones.

 

OP: as long as you are assigned to a regular mini-suite, you'll be fine. The bathroom is great!! What cabin have you been assigned to? Or you can tell us the category your cabin is.

I called once for the Escape and was told that only the Family Mini Suites had tubs, the rest were just full showers. I would think it would be the same for that full class of ships.

All of the mini suites have the tubs, some also have showers.

The tubs have showers. I think the OP had an issue with stepping into the tub to take a shower.

We have had mini-suite on Escape and Getaway and both didn't have bathtub.

 

Perhaps you were talking about the Jewel class ships - yes the mini-suites on the Jewel class ships do have bathtubs.
