Symphony Cruise Planner - Why Not Yet?

Now, I know that RCI does not provide a set date by which you can make show reservations on Cruise Planner, but we are now less than 60 days out, and entertainment reservations are still not available. This seems unusually late.

 

Has something changed with RCI? Is it specific to Symphony (we are sailing on the first US cruise for the ship)? Am I just too anxious?

 

Any (relevant) thoughts are welcome.

No changes to entertainment reservations have been reported. All you can do is keep checking.

Are you on the 4 day sailing? If so that may have something to do with it.

I'm also on the first 7 night Symphony out of Miami. My guess is RCCL hasn't finalized the entertainment/schedule for the US based cruises. Once they sort it out, they will probably open entertainment bookings for several months after our cruise.

Have already booked dining and excursions.

Yes, we are on the 4-day cruise. Is cruise planner different for these cruises?

There is a possibility. In 4 days they can't offer as many shows.

No set time, I've seen some excursions show up a year before the cruise. Other cruises I've not seen anything at 6 months.
