Andee Posted January 28, 2019 #27 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Since we tend to go on 3-5 week vacations, I can't imagine how many contact lens cases I'd need! I'll stick to travel size containers.
purduemom1 Posted January 29, 2019 #28 Share Posted January 29, 2019 No they won’t work for longer trips with daily use items but even on longer trips contact lense cases can be used for something that you might only use a few times and can’t do without. I’ve found that a variety of sizes work best for me. I also keep a record of how many days each container is good for. Makes it much quicker to pack for trips. Reina del Mar Posted February 10, 2019 #29 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Clinique , Estée Lauder, etc offer samples of their foundations...maybe get some of those and re use tiny pots. Otherwise you could use magazine samples of shampoo..sometimes available in strips, in shops like Poundland/ DollarTree or use bar shampoo/ conditioner available in places like Lush. Maybe there will be toiletries in hotel you are staying in pre cruise. We do the same thing..try to keep hold case packed until we get onboard. I use cosmetic sample pots in hand luggage and normal/ travel sizes in cabin bag depending on length of travel.
