0% chance of a November 2018 Edge Transatlantic passenger cruise to be added?

Is it at all possible that Celebrity adds a TA for Edge bookings in November 2018?

Maybe not a 0% chance, but highly unlikely at this point. They would have very little lead time to actually sell the ship. The crossing will give the crew a chance to shakedown the ship, something that is generally needed with a prototype ship. If this was #2, #3, #4 of the class, not so necessary as its been seen and done before. Not the case with EDGE being the first.

We were on the Reflection for its first TA, but that was after about 4 or 5 Euro cruises. And even w that, She had engine issues and we missed the Canary Is to insure we got to Miami for the major festivities they had planned.

 

It’s been 10 years, but I think the Solstice didn’t do any Euro cruises and came straight across but the ‘passengers ‘ were dignitaries and travel agents and so on. Very limited. I think.

I hadn't realized that there wasn't one scheduled. MSC did one with Seaside and I recall reading reviews from people on board (since I had a cruise booked in January) and they were not pretty, lots of work still going on.
