B2B Cabin Change Query

Leave all the hanging stuff in the wardrobe.  They will wheel it there on a mobile hanger trolley for you.  Put everything else that is in the drawers, loose etc in your suitcase(s) and they will transfer too.  Your new cabin should be ready by 9.30am.  Last cruise I was out of my old cabin and in the new one by 7.45am.  Best ever.  There will be a b2b cruisers meeting toward the end of your first cruise to explain procedures.  It’s very straightforward.

The possible glitch is if the people in your "new" stateroom don't leave on time, delaying the make-up of your nnew stateroom.

We've done this kind of cabin change twice and it was seamless both times. The biggest challenge on the second cruise was getting off the elevator on the wrong deck and heading in the wrong direction.😃

It's never happened to me, but always possible of course.

The debarkation notes say to leave the cabin by 8am.

Happened to us  twice when  moving into corner suites.  People didn't get out until after nine.  Just didn't want to leave, I guess.

Yes we have had that annoyance 3/4 moves on Azamara have been delayed.  Hoping for better luck next month.  Thats why I get annoyed when people say oh our stateroom attendant was ok about us staying in our room/leaving our cases in it after 8am.  The staff cannot start the sanitisation until the previous guest has fully left.

However, once we got the room its a really quick and easy process and the staff do everything to make it really easy

Simple but drastic solution which means that it will never happen.  If they are supposed to be out by 8:00, at 8:15 the steward comes into their cabin, throws all of their stuff into a large laundry bag and puts it into the hall.  They will only have to do it a few times and the word will get around that 8:00 mean 8:00 and not 9:00.
