Today we are in Sete.  The ship performs some tight manoeuvres to get to its dock in the heart of the town.

Just after sunrise.  Plenty of room by the pool but the temperature was around 13C.

Sete is famed for its food, particularly oysters and mussels. It would have been wrong not to visit the market several times during the day and sample some!

Great photos again. It is nice to see a different view of Sete. We kayaked the canals last year on the Encore.  Your photos make me want to go back again.

Sete and your photos remind me of the Chef's shopping tour. A fine market full of great food and colourful characters .

Sail in to Mahon, Menorca.   We’re a bit delayed due to more high winds and heavy seas entering the inlet.

Lovely photos bringing back super memories of Sète, a port that I've only visited once but will definitely return to. Perhaps on another land holiday to France.

 

ab21au - thanks for the pictures of Menorca - never been there but has been on my bucket list for years. I was enjoying your live thread until the site was taken down for the 'refurbishment' a couple of weeks ago, hope you post some more on it!

Yes, I am working on an update of the ports. When they started to do the site reorganization I stopped as my photos in the port were missing. They have since sorted that out but in the mean time I was too busy on the Ovation drinking Espresso Martinis 😀  Sorry, but I will update it soon.
