I have neither. My wife was never a stripper and I don't wear jewelry other than my wedding ring.

However,  I don't believe that someone who has tattoos, has a girlfriend, wears jewelry, or a hat is any less welcome in the Haven than I am. It's the non-Haven guests (smoker or non-smoker) that we can agree on that shouldn't be in the Haven.

😉 I know. I was just messing with you.

Well, just got off the Joy.  It was by far the most smoker-unfriendly ship I have ever been on.  As a smoker, I will never sail on this ship again.  There are only 2 areas for smokers (not counting the Humidor which is restricted to cigar smokers).  The indoor area is a dedicated portion of the casino (closed-in portion within the main room).  The problem here is that the room is only open when the casino is open, therefore closed when at port and not opened until sail-away.  The outdoor area is located in Spice H2o, deck 17 far aft (quite the hike from anywhere).  The smoking area is a small section tucked into a corner with 4 stand-up ashtrays and NO chairs.  Every time we dragged some of the nearby chairs over, they were immediately removed by staff as soon as we vacated them.  We were told that it was against the rules to have chairs there.  One day one of the officers came up to observe and stated that the CDC felt it was a safety hazard. ???????  Apparently standing and huddling around the ashtrays is safe, but sitting is not.   We all ignored and continued to drag the chairs every time.  They never ejected any of us while seated but we all felt treated like lower-class passengers.  If they simply don't want smokers, make it a smokeless ship, rather than treat those who do smoke so poorly.  My bet is that it is the captain who made this call but has to provide a smoking area by headquarters.  Shameful.  By the way, this outdoor area is open to the elements, no roof.  We had on more than one occasion suffered long downpoors and heavy winds and could not use the area.  And you guessed it, the casino was closed.

Any recent cruisers that can verify or correct the spreadsheet?https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IwhHuxFGVf8GRxIe1V30Bj0elmkPLRuQUxOpmI8LiFE

We just got off the cancelled Pearl cruise (1/3/2022-1/14/2022).   The smoking area was on the portside of the Sky High bar (Deck 13).

Some updates:

Encore - Apr, 2022 - There was an additional smoking area next to the Waves Bar on Deck 16

Joy - Sept, 2022 - No change, but there are now a good number of chairs and tables at H2O

Prima - Feb, 2023 - Casino smoking room Deck 6, Forward Sun Deck 18, Humidor

The Prima is terrible. Deck 18 is not accessible by elevator, so you need to walk up a long flight of stairs to the Sun Deck. Elder smokers were struggling big time, and if you had a walker or scooter -- forget it.

The Prima crewmembers told us we could smoke cigarettes in the Humidor, but that only lasted a couple of days. If there is a Humidor attendant you will be kicked out, if not, go for it.

The casino smoking room is not monitored.

The whole design of Prima is crazy! Did you notice that the kids splash pool is also on deck 18 forward? I was on the inaugural TA so no one was using it but can you imagine parents trying to haul kids/gear/stroller/whatever up those stairs?

To add to the Prima--small open smoking area on the top sun deck in the Haven. I have been told they will improve that on the Prima so that it is a covered area, There are no lounge chairs there but they have about 5 chairs and 3 small tables, with maybe 4 of those stand-up ashtray things metal things.
