Suite rates

We did our first cruise this summer on Oasis. We did a grand suite with a rate of about $1800/person.  It also included gratuities on two adults.  We reserved in Feb.  I’m looking at suites for summer now on Oasis clas#. and they are much higher than that.   Does anyone know pattern of rates?   Will they lower into new year?

Suites will be more expensive during the summer months, holidays or any time school is out.

It depends on the demand.  More people book, the prices go up.  And suites tend to fill up, so book early.  If they don't book up, and prices go down before final payment, you can get your rate adjusted.

We booked our oasis cruise that leaves in 3 weeks in April last year while on a cruise, price was 2500 per person for grand suite. Kept watching price which kept going down, a few months ago it was down to 2k per person, so we upgraded to a owners suite for the original price of 2500.

Another thing to be aware of is if you are traveling at a time that is popular with pinnacles.  Pinnacles have access to the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen.  If there are many pinnacles on board your experience in the SL/CK will be diminished as there will be many people competing for limited tables and seating and staff service will be spread thin.  Your experience as a suite paying passenger will be diminished.   

 

Do your homework before you book and search the forums as there is extensive discussion on this very significant problem.

Am booked in GS on Oasis for 12/2.  Price was 4700 for two of us.  Am also booked on Harmony, same embarkation port of PC (replacing Oasis) for same time next year (12/9)...but price was 5700 for GS.  Yikes!  😞 😮
