Princess EZ Check (think that's the name) is not the same as

What is package called on Princess where they take your luggage directly from ship to airline and you see it at your final destination?

Princess EZ Check. Not at all the same as referenced in the post above. I can't remember the cost - perhaps $25 per person? - but you put your luggage out in the hall and never see it again until you reach your final destination. This is, of course, in addition to any fee the airline may charge for the luggage. It's only available in a few US ports and not all airlines participate. There is a form onboard.

EDIT: A quick search found this image of the form:

I use EZ check all the time. Besides the luggage is taken the night before you disembark, you don't see it again until you reach your final destination. You also receive the last night of your voyage your boarding passes  and baggage tags for the suitcase.

I've used Luggage Forward for exactly one half of one trip.  Never again.

Outbound, their tracking stopped on Wed, when UPS delivered our bags to a Seattle courier service for a Sat

embarkation.  A call to LF an hour before sailing time got us told "Our courier tells us he's delivered all the bags for

your ship".  No confirmation that "all" really did include our bags, which didn't show up until after we'd sailed.

On debarkation in Seattle, you have to take your bags through Customs yourself, after which we could not find

them (spent an hour and a half running around Customs Hall and then SeaTac airport).  Had to pay last-minute

baggage prices to the airline.

LF did eventually refund that half of what we paid them.

Does anyone know if you can do EZ Check disembarking in Vancouver?

As I recall it’s only available in the US and now at only a couple of ports...Ft Lauderdale & Seattle?

Seattle is not Princess’s EZCheck. The port offers a service called Port Valet which is free. Not sure of the other particulars.

Thanks Pam...are you aware of any other ports other than FLL?  I don’t think it’s offered in LA.

No. Not in LA or NY. Not sure about SF.

As for Seattle, it’s the port’s luggage system, not Princess. https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free

Vancouver airports runs its own program sometimes. It seems to change every year. I forget what they called it last year.

I looked it up - it was called "Direct to Bus" transfer program. I don't know the details of this program but they used to have a "US Direct" where you bypassed customs.
