When you go to your reservation on the DCL website, you can click on "Itinerary" and it will show you port times and, usually, also shows Pirate night.

Failing that, on your reservation,  go to the "Reservation Summary" page and click on "My Cruise Activities".  It should show you a calendar of sorts, and one of the days will indicate "Ships activities" (Or, possibly, "Pirate night").  If it's Ship's Activities" click on that and a window will open and tell you what the activity is.

Pirate night is typically around night 4 or 5.

Thanks. Is it usually a sea day, then?

It will tell you online on your itinerary.  Also, when you are on the ship, you get a list of activities every day. It will be on there. Sometimes it's on a sea day and sometimes not. We've had it on shore excursion days also. Another way to tell it is Pirate Night? At least half of the people on your ship will be dressed as pirates when you step out of your cabin!!
