Muckyduckway Posted November 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2018 We've been watching the ships arriving live in anticipation of seeing the Norwegian Jewel arrive on 1st December. The site went down a few days ago and now requires a username and password, with no avenue to create one. Hopefully it will sort itself out, we need our fix! It's almost as opaque as our bathroom window!

S I don't have much success with the earth cam ones and the YHA one has limited hours, but I hadn't found the Luna Park one - it looks pretty good and will be a good sub if Webcam Sydney doesn't get its act together. Thank you.

Oh dear, it's been going a long time - hope he is motivated to get it going again.

By The Bay Posted November 27, 2018 #15 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Just checked out WebcamSydney, com and whilst the weather is grey, the live real time view is great. No login required.
Kiwi Kruzer Posted November 27, 2018 #16 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Another feature of the Sydney cam is the time lapse feature. For those who may not have found it, click the 3 line menu bar at the top of the page and select Replays and events, then time lapse and select the time you want and you can then watch the arrival and departure of cruise ships at will. Rare MicCanberra Posted November 28, 2018 #18 Share Posted November 28, 2018 Channel Nine Sydney often shows the quay for it's background shot on many of it's programs, morning show and news.

Muckyduckway Posted December 1, 2018 Author #21 Share Posted December 1, 2018 Thanks, I thought the light was really nice, makes some of the buildings really pop. It's a good camera - one of the sharpest in the area. I just had to post it - bursting with excitement - somehow her arrival in the port we will be embarking from seems momentous to me. Thanks, it's going in my holiday folder - can't imagine having the focus to take a similar one on the morning of our embarkation and who knows what the weather will be like that day!
