We’re in Tampa for two nights prior to our b2b next month.  Might have to check this out and report.

Did you get a chance to check it out? What did you think?

We don’t head to Tampa until Thursday but I was there by chance over New Years.  It was a nice space and right next door to the port.  These are photos of just a couple of the food venues.

Did they reopen the IMAX theatre?  We've been there years ago pre cruise and found it closed a few years later.  Also another thing to do is attend the Tampa Bay Lightening hockey games if they're in town.  We had a great time there and bought tickets on ticket master.  Great seats, although very over priced of course, but they were playing Pittburgh Penguins and we got to see Sid Crosby, AKA Sid the kid. Great time.

So would you suggest an Uber or Lyft from airport to Publix and then back to port?  Any thoughts on distance?

Where are you staying the night before you cruise?  Should be something near your hotel.

If you are flying in the day of your cruise then use Google Maps to find a store selling what you need between the airport and the port and use Uber or Lyft (hint: you can pre-order at Total Wine and your purchase will be waiting for you), or just grab a taxi and let the driver know what you need (any Publix grocery store will have a reasonable selection of wine).  Good luck! 😎
