fdthird Posted November 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2018 Last time we cruised out of Galveston, we drove and stayed for a couple of days before the cruise at a hotel along the Seawall. This time, we’ll be flying in the day before the Sunday departure of the LOS and without the use of our car, would like suggestions for a hotel closer to the Cruise Terminal. Thanks for your help. FrankNBrew Posted November 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 29, 2018 I checked both of those hotels for our trip in February and they require a 2 night stay. I'm guessing you can pay for 2 nights, but it's going to be over $400 for one room. I booked a night at the Four Points instead. I used hotel points, but it was around $225. It's about a mile away, yet close to many attractions, and they have a free shuttle to the pier.

For others reading this, sometimes these hotels will book for one night if you call directly. Not always the case, but it's worth calling.

aknguyen Posted November 29, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2018 It depends on the time of year. There are a lot of festivals and conventions in Galveston that affect that rule.
