I love to cruise on a new ship to see her first hand. I expect we will get more details shortly (this month). The wife and I will be in New York for a travel awards ceremony later this month and will ask some of the brass that will be there for more info if it does come out in the interim. As mentioned in another of the Mardi Gras threads and the various press release news stories, Carnival should be announcing something really soon - announce itineraries in "mid-January" and then open up bookings by 31 January. It was rumored to be this past Tuesday, but someone indicated JH apologized for leading folks astray - so my guess is this upcoming Tuesday. I'm gonna go look at the P&O Iona deckplans again just for entertainment - that is the closest overall exterior form to the Mardi Gras, though I would bet the interiors will be completely different.
