Beach Day in Cozumel in February??

We will be in Cozumel on February 18. Will it be warm enough to enjoy the beach and go in the water? I've heard Cozumel pools aren't heated.

Trying to decide what to do that day.

I went to Pasion Island in Cozumel in February and the weather was fine 🙂

The pools are freezing at Playa Mia in the winter.  None of my kids nor my husband would get in with me and the pool was empty. The "hot tub" is freezing and miserable.   I have been to Sanchos twice in early March and the pools were still pretty cold.

 

Looking forward to try Passion Island in April since the pool is heated!

Do you mean Paradise Beach? Dont think Passion Island has a pool.

 

I was there in January hoping to enjoy the heated pool and it was freezing too unfortunately!

Ocean water will not be bad, in the shallows.  If that is what you are asking.  Temps don't vary much from winter to summer in that regard.  However, sometimes it can be windy in winter/spring making it feel cooler.  And I never go in a pool when there is an ocean to enjoy.

Hi Panda Bear,

Our family is planning on doing Paradise beach when we're in Cozumel. We will be on the same ship as you. The adult kids voted on a beach day. Were hoping that the weather remains in the 80's with no rain.

Paradise Beach says they heat their pool to 82 degrees in the winter! It's the best pool in Cozumel for sure.
