Borrowing an iron

Your room steward will bring an iron and ironing board. Since it is a fire hazard, they will come by shortly after to pick it up. So, you need to be ready to get all of your pressing done as soon as the iron arrives. (You can't keep it for any period of time).

If you want one there are two possibilities:-

Ask the steward if he isn't busy; remember they are flat out most of the time.

Phone Housekeeping and ask for them.

As said it is only polite to use them as soon as you get them and then tell steward/housekeeping you have finished.  There are very few per deck.

Agree with what the two previous posters said.

While on the Breakaway,I asked the steward for an iron and a board.

I did as much ironing as possible before he was to pick it up.

On a cruise after the one on the Breakaway, I used Downy Wrinkle Free.

It worked great !

No more ironing on a cruise for me !
