Ocean Boy Posted February 9, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2019 It depends. Where did the credit come from? Some forms are refundable and some are not.
dbvirago Posted February 10, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2019 If you look at the account on the TV or app, it will tell you if it is refundable or not. Basically, if it's from the company, it's non-refundable, if from a travel agency, it is refundable. If you have both, they will spend from the non-ref part first. If refundable, it will hit your credit card within hours of getting off the ship

If you used an agent you should call them to find out where the credit came from. RCI probably won't talk to you.
Chiliburn Posted February 10, 2019 Author #7 Share Posted February 10, 2019 The agent would be best,I’ll email them. we booked it in December, grand suite on voyager. after cross reference with other sites and RC .This one come up with the best price but the OBC was a bit vague. So we did all right . But after thinking about it ,we usually don’t spend that much.

Our travel agent often gives us non refundable OBC while telling us it comes from a special deal they have wIth RCI. Better check with with your travel agent.
Missusdubbya Posted February 10, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2019 You can use it in the casino, and cash out your chips (5% surcharge)
Turbo19 Posted February 10, 2019 #10 Share Posted February 10, 2019 We got the same $US1000 OBC with our Owner's suite booking for Explorer of the Seas. We also booked in December. It was part of a Royal Caribbean sale promotion (not sure if it was just for Australia) and I am assuming it is non-refundable.

Jandex Posted February 10, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 10, 2019 We got $1200 OBC by booking in January - definitely a Royal promotion. Nothing to do with TA’s.
