Smoking policy?

I have looked at the FAQs on the Virgin website, but cannot find out what the smoking policy will be on this line.  I am a non-smoker and want to make sure before I book that it will not be a free for all sort of situation.

Given the demographics to which VV caters, smoking will likely be very limited - probably just one outdoor location.

What is the smoking policy?

Smoking will only be permitted in a designated smoking room and on the top deck outdoor area. Smoking is not allowed on any cabin terraces.

Smoking of any kind outside of designated areas (even with a "vape" device) will result in a $1000 fee, is a material breach of your ticket contract, and may result in you being disembarked at the next port with no refund. Any repatriating fees will be charged to your onboard account.

That fine is pretty steep, much more than other lines.

it is!  But if they have an inside room set aside for smokers that's one MORE than many other lines.

 

I can't think of ANY cruise line that still allows smoking on balconies.  (Maybe Costa and P&O????)

As innovative as Scarlet Lady professes one would think Smoke Free would be the holy grail.  

Come on Virgin lead the way, smoking is still killing too many people

two cigars a day when on a cruise and thankfully every cruise line including Virgin allows it
