We had "sip and sail", pre-paid gratuities, and $1000.00 in shipboard credit. We ended up getting a check for $400.00 sent to the house. Gotta love that!! I usually don't have much OBC on Princess because I book through the casino and that rate isn't usually combinable with all promos.

Thrak Posted March 5, 2019 #53 Share Posted March 5, 2019 (edited) We're booked for a 15 day connieusseur cruise tour to Alaska in May. For the land portion we each got $50 shore credit. For the 7 day cruise portion we got free gratuities, free specialty dining, and $550 OBC. That should be enough to at least cover the bar tab. (We don't qualify for military OBC or we would really be sitting pretty.) Edited March 5, 2019 by Thrak

So if you book using their casino rate (if qualified) Princess won't give you FCC, loyalty, stockholder or TA on-board credit?
EightFurryPaws Posted March 5, 2019 Author #55 Share Posted March 5, 2019 Good Morning..... I'm the OP on this thread. Just wanted to update that today my Loyalty Credit showed in the Travel Summary. We are leaving on Monday, so it is exactly what was reported in these discussions. Thank you. It doesn't indicated refundable or not. Either way, we have over a $1000 OBC and paid grats, so I will be cashing out at the casino what is not used. Thanks again, can always count on CC. The casino rate (yes, if qualified) is combinable with some of their promos, just not all of them. I know they won't combine it with the Sip and Sail. I am, however, still able to get obc for my FCC, loyalty and stockholder credit. If there is a big enough commission, then a TA will also give me some OBC. If I get such a great deal (which sometimes I do), the commission for the TA and the associated OBC is so little that for me, it is not worth handing the reservation over to a TA ... I just make my booking with Princess.

And, since we love to play in the casino while onboard, it's a win win for us. Well, that doesn't mean to say we always win while onboard ... but we have fun and then the discounted rates top it off.

Rare Ombud Posted March 8, 2019 #60 Share Posted March 8, 2019 (edited) Sail in 6 days (pic is travel summary page). The $25 under special services is loyalty credit, the $38 under charge summary is PCP credit Edited March 8, 2019 by Ombud
