Pier290 Posted February 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2019 Is it easy to navigate around via golf cart?? We don't want to waste time looking at a map all day to get lost and waste the day in Bonaire!! Looking to see a few of the most famous sites but really looking to hang at a few awesome beaches/bars as well......... Is this for us?? 3 women and a golf cart?! ??? capriccio Posted February 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2019 We had a great time seeing Bonaire by golf cart in December. The staff provides a map and will describe the routes in detail. My DH drove and I navigated and we only made one wrong turn which I realized immediately. Make sure you tell them you are a party of 3 when you make your reservations since it looked like most carts only fit two (there were at least a handful that fit 4). Ronaldo807 Posted March 25, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2019 We just got back and did the entire North & South loop. We had a long port day so we were not concerned with time. Getting around was very easy and we were never concerned with our safety with other vehicles on the road. We only got kind of lost on the way back from the North loop, but we were already back in town at that point and one of the locals happily directed us. There were only a few turns so you won't be looking at a map all day.
wheezedr Posted April 22, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2019 Very easy to navigate. We did both north and south loops. Spent a little time at the beach. They will give you good maps and outline your route.
jptoz Posted April 28, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Just in Bonaire last week. Took a cab to Delfins Beach resort. $3 per person. Rented a electric golf cart for $65 and did the southern loop. Also go the day pass for $15 an adult, kids are free. Beautiful grounds, beautiful beach at resort, with great snorkeling right from beach. If you want to do the whole island they do rent gas vehicles. for a little more.
