Magen or Sapphire?

We are trying to decide which beach to head to on our September stop in St. Thomas.  We are the only ship in port that day on the Carnival Fascination and will be there from 7-5.  The ship only holds 2,000 passengers so I can't imagine crowds being an issue.  Just need a nice soft sand beach and clear water.  We aren't really looking to snorkel.  Just looking to lay out on a lounger and soak up some sun.  Which beach would be better for this?

We will be on the Carnival Fascination next week.  We wanted to check out a beach as well in St. Thomas, and maybe Magens is the one we should do.  Any idea the cost pp by Taxi for this?  Is there a fee to use the beach?  How about chairs/umbrella (we really don't have to have them), the cost?

We would prefer Sapphire, just a gorgeous beach with those great island views. Home to 3 condo properties, yet very quiet. Magens is also nice, just a bit boring for us, Sapphire just has that character of a Caribbean beach to us

Taxi to either is ~$10pp each way, enjoy your day!
