EmmasNana Posted March 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2019 What is the earliest you would book leaving from FCO after a cruise? Supposed to be in port at 5:00 AM(I know, doesn't meant it will).
Zach1213 Posted March 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2019 Would your first flight be intra-Schengen or would you be leaving the Schengen area and requiring exit immigration at the time of departure? The latter will add time.
CruiserBruce Posted March 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2019 This is discussed on the Italy board almost daily. Generally 10:30 for direct to the US, maybe 9:30 for domestic. Docking at 5am doesn't mean getting off at 5:15. They have gotten much better at this. If you are planning an early flight, a private transport is required. Well, are there specific flights you're looking at? If so, feel free to post those (including the specific routes and places you would connect) and we're happy to advise. I can't even book yet since the cruise is in 2020. Thanks everyone! 18 hours ago, EmmasNana said: I guess I don't have enough info. I will go check out the Italy forum. Thanks. Voelfgar Posted March 11, 2019 #9 Share Posted March 11, 2019 I personally wouldn't book a flight to the US from FCO no earlier than 11am.
Fairgarth Posted March 12, 2019 #10 Share Posted March 12, 2019 Bear in mind that the cruise port of Civitavecchia is a long way from FCO.
