Can unused dining package vouchers be used on multiple ships?

We have 2 NCL cruises booked in the next 4 months. If we purchase extra dining vouchers for a cruise on the Escape out of NYC at the end of this month and don’t use them all, would we be able to use them on the Epic when we sail on her in June?

Okay, thanks. Wish that wasn’t the case, but it is what it is. Too bad. I was about to spend the extra $ but I’ll hold off.

if you are worried about OBC, you can either purchase a next cruise certificate or last night go into casino and withdraw remaining balance of your obc at a slot machine and cash it in.

Last cruise I bought several SDPs to add to the 3 SDPs and 2 Plats we already had (it was a 19 day cruise), but one or other of us were unwell on some days, and by the end of cruise we had 2 unused SDPs each. We had to lose them.

I have another dining package question, so thought I'd tack it on here rather than start another thread. 

 

Can I purchase a 4-meal SDP to supplement the 3 that came with our booking and then split them between my husband and I for 2 extra meals?  My read of the terms and conditions leads me to think "no," but really? Spouses/traveling companions in the same cabin can't share them?

So I just answered my own question reading old threads. It appears that NO you may not share SDPs according to the terms. Sometimes an individual server will allow it, but don't count on it.

We had unused dining package nights when we sailed Alaska. We ate every night in the buffet.

(this was when Haven automatically got them for free). No compensation or carry over

allowed.

No...... each trip is independent of the next except when figuring Latitude levels.

Dang! Thanks for your responses. I've seen some posts that suggest plugging the OBC into the casino machines then cashing out but I seem to recall also seeing a post that suggests OBC's can't be used in the casino.
