JustAGirl79 Posted March 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2019 I'm interested in hearing this! We leave on Monday for 4 nights on Mariner and I was sort of assuming that for four nights, spring break... there may not be a formal night.... sandebeach Posted March 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2019 When we did Mariner last year, they changed it to “Dress your Best” night, but I do not remember what night it was. Less than half of the people we saw dressed up.
ElectricBallroom Posted March 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2019 I’m on that itinerary right now and they DGAF. Turns out that The Love Boat was a lie. No mention of it at all and you can dress however you want in any venue. Maybe Chef’s Table is restricting some, but the specialty restaurants are empty. Last night, wedesnday, was anecdotally the most dressy, that I noticed. There were more photo opportunities compared to the other two nights and some people were getting fancied up for the pictures. blueridgemama Posted March 22, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 22, 2019 I think your sea day is the formal night
cb at sea Posted March 22, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Night 2 is always the formal night.
Rare twangster Posted March 22, 2019 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2019 For my 4 night in September day 3 (CocoCay) was "Wear Your Best" night. The only sea day is the day before you return to Miami so it's not dress up night since everyone is packing.
Momto5 Posted March 22, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2019 Night 3 was our “formal” night last week. Some very dressy, most moderately dressy. Some still casual. More photo ops. But it wasn’t advertised-just noticed when I went to Promenade to grab a snack. Quick change for the kids and I!

KYCruiser71 Posted March 24, 2019 #11 Share Posted March 24, 2019 Per the info provided from RCCL, there is no formal night on the 4 day cruises....just 5 day and up. We just returned from the 4 day Mariner and the only night we noticed folks dressed up was the last night. Hope you have a great time!!
