Unless things have changed dramatically, RCL offers no free water taxi. We were docked in VCE on RCL - no free transport whatsoever, be it taxi, alilaguna or vaporetto. You can easily take the people mover over to Piazzale Roma & then take the vaporetto to St. Marks. or The Alilaguna will take you from the Marittima cruise terminal to St. Mark's Square. https://www.alilaguna.it/en/cruise-terminal-venice-and-vice-versa Edited March 27, 2019 by dogs4fun
hallasm Posted March 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2019 No - as described by dogs4fun. I’ll recommend the Alilaguna - €15 pp - does take one and half hour but very nice trip - water taxi faster and more expensive. Both the Alilaguna and water taxi will only require a short walk both at airport and at Cruise terminal.
Grandma Cruising Posted March 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Depends how long you are in Venice, but I would suggest buying a 1 day Vaporretto ticket, so you can explore as much of Venice as you want. This website has very good information about transport in Venice https://europeforvisitors.com/venice/articles/vi-transport.htm
