Southampton Check in Times

Do they adhere to check in times at Southampton now, or are they basically ignored like here at US ports?

In our experience you can check in at any time.

We usually stop overnight in Southampton and get to the port around 12.15 and as D+ we are directed to a priority check in.

It is slightly different for P&O check in where if you are not in a Suite or top loyalty you are given a coloured card with a letter on and you have to take a seat for 20-30 minutes until your colour card and letter is called.

Boarding starts around 10:45 in my experience. Free for all.

Thanks. Our check in documents should be ready in about 10 days, so I was looking for a time to enter.

We've  left from Southampton  several times (and will do so again in July). Times don't seem to be adhered to- the only  difference l can see is the priority  queues for C & A grades, where the staff do seem  to direct  guests  more thoroughly.  So if you are not (say) Diamond or above  you may get directed to a longer check in queue.
