Charles4515 Posted April 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Looking for great restaurant ideas near the Bermuda cruise port (Kings wharf). thanks I can give you good ideas for restaurants to walk to but I won’t say any of the restaurants at the Dockyard have great food. The Frog and Onion Pub and Bone Fish Bar and Grill are what I call better then average. Frog and Onion has a microbrewery so that is where I go if I decide to have a meal or drinks at the Dockyard. 1
maria1122 Posted April 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Can you tell me how far the frog and onion is from the ship docking. My husband cannot walk far. Thank you

Thank you It is not a long walk, I would estimate about 1000 feet. There is also a trolly train that circles the Dockyard with a stop at the dock and it has a stop close to the Frog and Onion. A halfway decent, extremely convenient meal? Yes. But if you want anything "great" on the island you wont find it there.
marci22 Posted April 30, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 30, 2019 Lunch or snack and a drink can be very pleasant but don't expect greatness. My best meal was a fish sandwich a tour guide picked up from a takeout place somewhere.
richg35 Posted May 2, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) I'd stay on the ship to eat rather than go out just for an overpriced meal at a dockyard restaurant. Edited May 2, 2019 by richg35
