Djptcp Posted May 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2019 This was our 49th cruise overall and 35th on Carnival. It was a Premier Casino cruise for me and DH was able to also have free drinks while playing in the casino. We had a French Door cabin which we had had once before - cheap interior price with a wall of natural light and a couch. The Miracle is one of our favorite ships and was in great shape. The crew was always friendly and helpful. There were about 200 Premier Casino cruise passengers and we had a great welcome aboard party right after the muster drill and received gifts all week from the Casino. Food was very good and the Steakhouse dinners were delicious as always. The Platinum/Diamond cocktail party was just okay - food was disappointing after the great appetizers at the Premier cocktail party. Embarkation in Tampa was fast and efficient as always - best port terminal of all we have ever sailed from. Debarkation was also fast and we were in the car by 8:40am and home in less than an hour. Frankie was the CD and very energetic. We had perfect weather all week. Sad to see the Miracle leave Tampa, but glad the Legend will be taking its place, another favorite ship of ours. 2
bambidrummer Posted May 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2019 What was your favorite food on the ship? I love Guy burgers, so I need to know where to eat. We are sailing in June.

paperkrazie Posted May 3, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Do you happen to have the Fun Times, and if so, would you be willing to post those please?
Djptcp Posted May 3, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Sorry, we didn't keep our Fun Times. There isn't a Guy's Burgers on the Miracle 😞 Our favorite foods are in the Steakhouse, but you can order several of the selections in the main dining room for $20. The desserts in the Lido buffet are always good, their salad bar is good, and morning omlettes are also good. I ordered room service for lunch most days and like their firecracker shrimp, BLT, and Reubens.
cfralc Posted May 3, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2019 So did your DH also get the Premier gifts and entries into the drawings or only you?
sunonfire Posted May 3, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Attention: Djptcp, I am glad you enjoyed your cruise. Did you remember to ask about the FTTF tags? I have not received a response from Carnival. I sent Carnival a second email and I still have not received anything. Thanks.

Have you ever been on a Premier Cruise on a Journeys (15 day cruise)? We are booked on out first one in January and I am just wondering what to expect. The one we went on a while back had less winners per game, seemingly to stretch the same amount of money given away over more days! ie, they might call 6 people on a drawing on a 7 day, but only 3 on a 14 day, something like that! Other wise you get the same benes. you'd get on a shorter Premier, but you get the extra days of free drinks in the casino!

We're booked on a Premier before the Miracle leaves Tampa in a 'inside with a window' on deck 4! Is it a window, or do they still have the french doors to no balcony?-))
