Embarking on Anthem at Cape Liberty NJ

This is our second cruise, but our first one driving to the port.  We are on the Anthem for 5 days going to Bermuda.  I have a few embarkation questions:

                                What is the earliest time we can board the ship?

                                Does the parking lot provide shuttle to the ship?  I believe I read that it is near the ship, but my husband has trouble walking, so I am hoping there is a way to get to the

                               ship.

Drop your husband and the luggage off first.  Then park.  Problem solved.  🙂 

 

Boarding often starts as early as 10:45.

Just to add to this, if you tell them your husband has mobility issues, they will direct you to a specific area at the luggage drop off just for those with mobility issues.  It is closest to the doors to the terminal, I forget the exact zone drop off number, but as you approach, there is a man directing you to where you should go, tell him about your husband and he will send you there as opposed to the next available area.  Will make your husbands walk a lot shorter. 🙂

The parking garage is right next (almost attached) to the terminal.  So, after dropping your husband of, you will have a very short walk to meet him.  Have a great cruise.
