It is all one lens on the superzoom Nikon Coolpix P900.  That is what I LOVE about the camera - no exchange of lenses needed, as it is not a DSLR.  It has 83x optical zoom.  4.3-357 mm 😮  I am buying the exact camera again and giving this one (with a few nicks) to my sister in a week! Best Buy has it on sale for $100 off at the moment.

Does Ocean Cay now have a separate Dining Experience section or do they still let you choose one item from each of the three priced sections - appetizer, main, dessert?

As it shows in the photos above, it's still choose items from the full menu with a few exclusions. Doesn't show a distinct Dining Experience menu.

Finally caught up. What an amazing trip review this is, loving reading it!

Excuse this but I haven't seen if you are Black cards or not. Lets assume you are. You would have had your free specialty dinner. Now as you are on a 2 week cruise that's supposed to be it. BUT, we thought we might get one the second week as well. We didn't receive our invitation card by day 3 of the second week so we went up to the maitre d and said we hadnt received our invite. He looked on the list, said it was weird that he didn't see our names but knew we were black cards and put us on the list. Bingo, 2 free dinners. 

Might be worth asking, you never know.

PS: It looks like the menu I had did not have the dessert options.  I will add those pictures tomorrow, if I can find a full menu.

Thanks for the input!  I agree it is always helpful to ask, as invitations may get lost or forgotten.   🙂 We received a second free dinner invitation and are booked for Ocean Cay tomorrow.  Last week, we did Butcher’s Cut. I will report back after our experience tomorrow.

Hopefully St Thomas has recovered more now from the previous storm damage that was still evident last time we were there.

The Marriott Resort (if I remember the name right) had suffered significant damage during the hurricanes.  It is being gutted and redone on the inside:

I am so glad to be at the Havensight Dock again!  Our last two visits to St. Thomas were with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity and they dock far from downtown (I think it is called Crown Bay).  The port where they dock is very under-developed and you pretty much have to pay for a taxi or take an excursion to get anywhere worthwhile.

TIP:  The Yacht Club is a great place to find a nice view of the ship for a family picture.

 

 

 

 

On a future visit, I would like to try the cable car.  It is $21 per person.

I apologise for my incorrect info - I didn't fully read the OC Experience page. 

Hopefully the OP can grab a shot of the Experience menu for Ocean Cay too.
