If I book a specialty dinner in advance , just to make sure I get my desired time, once I am onboard can I request that my credit card be refunded for the cost of the dinner, and have it charged to my OBC instead. Could I also do that with a purchase of an unlimited internet package? Thanks.

I might be wrong, but if you book in advance they charge your card immediately.

No and no. Other than for shore excursions, the 'OB' in OBC is taken literally.

 

There will be more reservation times available for the specialty restaurants onboard than just the ones shown in your cruise personalizer.

this one was actually an attempted switcheroo. Like bait and switch, most people describe switcheroos that are not.

Often with the internet there a deals for pre purchasing a package before boarding. This discount would NOT be available on the ship.

And at least on the ships with medallionnet, it's higher to prepurchase if you are elite.

Thanks for the info! I think I will prepurchase the internet package, and book dinners onboard with OBC.
