Brilliance Formal Night

We are planning a 5 day cruise for our 20th wedding Anniversary next year.  How formal is formal night?  My husband will not dress up at all.  He will wear black pants and a polo shirt. Is that acceptable? Is formal night mandatory? Will we get kicked out the main restaurant if we aren't dressed up?

As far as being "acceptable", the cruise line does not enforce the dress suggestions, so no one will kick you out of any restaurant.

Brilliance is available in the Royal Caribbean app and main dining room menus are viewable.   Perhaps viewing the menus of itineraries similar to the one you had in mind will give you an idea.
