How do you find out what cabins are still available and if there is a price drop on the category you booked? Please help. Look at the deck plans for the cabins that are in your category and then at the HAL site and, if any of those cabins are available check their pricing. If you book in US $, it’s easy to check some of the TA sites and see what each category is selling for currently, too. Then you can verify on the HAL site.

I saw what category we have but can't figure out how to find out what cabins are available on HAL. I glanced at a couple TA sites but they want your e-mal before you could check for cabins and I didn't want to do that.

You don't have to give them your correct email . . . . . Smooth Sailing! 🙂🙂🙂

If it was just for one person, I don't feel that getting a $135 credit ($100 beverage card and $35 PG) is a fair amount of compensation. I have seen much higher levels of OBC issued here on CC. They didn't OWE them anything. Contract says no adjustments after final payment. Whatever they got was a gift. GEEZE!

In addition to the regular categories (innside, OV, veranda etc) there are other factors - hence all those colors of the same category on the deck plans, i.e. larger insides, better balconies). And they don't list the prices like that but just by category. How do we find apple to apple prices??
mattduke1 Posted June 16, 2019 #31 Share Posted June 16, 2019 Our final payment was about a month ago and I just noticed the fare for our category (Neptune Suite) had gone done about $550 since that final payment date. Just called and got that $550 as a future cruise credit. We're extremely satisfied with that.

Did you call HAL directly or a travel agent?
mattduke1 Posted June 18, 2019 #33 Share Posted June 18, 2019 HAL directly...the first agent I spoke with confirmed the price decrease and then sent me on to a price specialist. That person apologized that he couldn't take the $550 off of my current cruise, but was more than happy to offer it as a future cruise credit.
