We will be flying in the day before our cruise and was wondering if anyone knows if RCL offers airport transportation from both airports to Miami cruise pier? I know they do from MIA just not sure about FLL...    Flights are cheaper to FLL but hotels are more. We are just trying to figure out the best way to go. This is our first time going out of Miami.   thanks in advance for any help.

No need to book transportation with the cruiseline. Lot's of private shuttle options or Uber/Lyft.

We have found hotels to be cheaper in Fort Lauderdale....one we like is Hyatt Place book directly as a member (sign up) or use ValueTrips.

You said flights are cheaper to FLL but hotels are more by FLL?

Why not fly into FLL and stay in Miami hotels then?

Think of MIA and FLL as interchangeable airports like say LGA airport and JFK airport in New York City. Unless you are arriving during morning rush-hour there is not a huge difference in location. FLL airport is 20-miles from Port Miami.

Thank you for responding. Never used Uber or Lyft before but willing to try

Howdy, from a transplanted Okie! 😎

If a dinosaur like me can figure out how to use Uber and Lyft, so can you!  Watch a couple of You tube videos, download and set up the app on your phone, and you are ready to ride. Request the ride as you exit baggage claim and confirm your location - your driver should arrive in 5 minutes or less.

We found a much cheaper flight to Fll for our November cruise out of Miami so we will Uber or lyft to Miami hotel night before the cruise.

Smart. To me it's like Midway vs O'Hare in Chicago.  Take whichever has the better flight.
