IPlayWithString Posted June 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2019 you think the Vista is going to get stuck at sea during the final cruise before it goes into dry dock for the propulsion issues it's been having? 😄😂🤣
bury me at sea Posted June 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2019 I doubt it, though it might resemble a slow boat to China.
Micahs Grandad Posted June 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2019 That would be rather embarassing to CCL if that happened. Have they ever said what the problem was?
xDisconnections Posted June 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2019 Not sure but I do feel for those who had their cruises cancelled and the poor agents answering the phones at Carnival.

Of course, if it's an engine thing, I imagine the engine is built somewhere else. From what I've read, it's the Azipods that are causing the problem. Something about the bearings. They are what propels and steers the ship. Think of it as an electric motor with the propeller attached to it. There is another posting on here that shows what they look like.
