So whens your next cruise?

Recommended Posts

Hi Both.

Ours  is on Discovery on 23rd Aug for a couple of weeks, 40 days from today (not that I am counting like)😄

Really looking forward to it apart from the impending hassle at Corfu airport.

Keep well😉

What kind of weather do you think it will be at that time Campolady?

Hopefully OK Hookedoncruising.  October can be a very iffy month here in the Med but November is usually quite pleasant.

Thankyou, that is good to know! 👍 We would never have thought of the med at that time of year.Is it warm enough to sunbathe?..or at least wear shorts? Thanks for your help.

My husband wears shorts up to mid-December and sunbathing fine in sheltered spots.

Ours is 3rd August on Discovery 2, getting really close now. Might start packing 🙂

We are on the same cruise as you SausPud, but can only manage a week this time. The next one is a Transatlantic on Explorer 2 at the end of October. We have then 'jumped ship' to do a cruise on the Norwegian Bliss out of New York next April. Feel it could be a little too large for us.

We have jumped ship also next April doing Celebrity Apex. Big ships are great and more spacious that the smaller ones, like Celebration and Dream.

You will love the Bliss.

Maybe see you on board D2, if you can find me?

Be warned, you will love it and won't do any other holiday again.

Hi Howard it will be interesting to see how you get on, have you been to that hotel before? Would love to go back but it is just to far for us now even Tenerife was uncomfortable this year😕

HI Roger hope all is well looking forward to the new season just waiting for my season ticket to arrive , we stopped at the coconut court this year and doing the tried and trusted  islands once again, yes the hotel Virgin use is the Savannah beach two hotels up from the Coconut court so we had a good look round and to our surprise there were the local Monkey population up and down the trees looking forward to seeing them again, take care

I did one Carnival cruise and it was a Virgin Package deal. Never again. Due to the ship being met in Barbados, it was in mid cruise for the Americans, so everything was tailored for them. Felt like third class citizens and the treatment was terrible. Never been with Virgin or Carnival again.

Example, just a quick one as the list is many, the Americans had a whole show and presentation on disembarkation procedure, we had to ask for any details and got an a4 flyer an hour before pulling into port explaining what should have happened the night before.

Caribbean is wonderful by the way and the islands were great.
