Does anyone know which are the newer cabins that were added on island princess? Is it just on certain decks? Also it are they new for all cabin types from interior and up? Any help would be great.

Assuming that Island and Coral were essentially the same to start with, what Island now has that is different than Coral are:

LIDO
   BE Balconies
   S4 and S6 Suites

ALOHA
BE Balconies (on the Starboard side of Youth Center)
   S6 Suites

BAJA
   ID Insides (Two)
   BD Balconies (Four are Aft-facing)
   S5 Suites

Caribe
   S4 Suites

Dolphin
   OY Obstructed OVs (Two)

You can compare the deckplans to get the specific cabin numbers.

Ah! You're the best. Why didn't I think to do that. Thanks.

Fiesta Deck and Promenade Deck: The cabins in the 700s where the Universe Lounge still is on the Coral Princess. I think the cabins along the corridor beside the casino are also new (F502-F526). They have the new bathroom fixtures. I was in F504 last month and loved the location.

All aft facing cabins/suites were added.

The two aft facing Oceanview cabins on Emerald deck were original, not added.

There were two identical cabins on Baja deck but their windows were obliterated when the stern-facing balcony cabins were added.

Woohoo cabins that aren't all the way aft. Was it a quiet location? What did you think of the ships condition?

Yes, it was a very quiet location. I never heard any noise from the casino or the atrium. The only downside was occasionally when we were in port and they closed the access to the atrium, rerouting us through the casino.

How was the condition of the ship itself in your opinion?

Thanks again for the cabin info, that was incredibly helpful.

I was just going to ask about noise from the casino!  Glad to hear there wasn't any noise.

Regarding F504, did you hear chairs scraping from the above Promenade deck?

P.S.  Do the newer cabins now have 2 outlets in the cabin and a ledge in the shower?

I never heard any noise from being under the Promenade Deck. The only time there was any noticeable noise from outside the cabin was while the ship was docked in Vancouver. They were loading the luggage onto the ship right outside my window.
