Yes i remember those days .

Diamonds only got wine or beer in a separate room no snacks.

one of our group was D+ and she used to go across to the D+ lounge and bring back plates of snacks.😊

I remember a few of those sailings, nuts, yogurt, and weird things in a glass was the only food.  Free wine and beer.  ugh.

That said, that was my first experience as a diamond, I remember a sailing when we turned platinum when it was actually better for a night to be platinum.

I was being charitable.

Don't you see me as a kind and charitable soul?  😉

One of the kindest charitable souls on cruise critic, who is frequently bashed for not being kind enough....🤣

Yup, my first Diamond Event was in Sept 6, 2009 on Navigator!

Ah.. who can forget the trail mix!  OT but one good thing about MSc is you still get nibbles with your drinks.

When I was last on a Oasis, the DL was on deck 6 with an outside space (but not outdoor) and seating, complete with parasols, overlooking the RP!!  That was a great space!   I’ll have a drink or 2 in the double decker CL on her penultimate sailing before her DD.

I remember that lounge as well, but it was only for coffee.  The cocktails were served in Blaze when I was on board.  The little DL was so tiny, but indeed had a nice balcony looking out over the promenade.

Trail mix on Freedom during the nightly Diamond Event was not bad.  We had soooo much fun at that event in the forward lounge....and it was very well attended.  🙂
