Notice from TA regarding Cuba cruises

Got word from my TA yesterday that Viking is offering full refund by 8/15/19 on cancelled Cuba cruises.  The suggested alternative was a 7 night trip Miami/KW/Progreso/Belize/Cozumel/Miami (maybe not in that order... I forgot.)  No thank you.  (Also only 6 hours in Cozumel... a port I used to hate and then made peace with once I found a private tour vendor I really like.)

 

We are taking the refund.

We have zero interest in any of those ports, had we booked Cuba we would also be requesting the refund option. Suspect they may have some challenges filling the ship with those ports!

But Andy, where else can you get so many new T-shirts better than Key West???😎

Y'all sound like us.  Not much appeal in Cozumel till we took a cab to Chankanaab Park.  All the hustling downtown made us want to stay on the ship.🍸

Jim - after considerable thought, the draw of t-shirts just didn't do it. 😀 Don't think they could offer us anything to sign up for those ports. 😞

The only reason to go go Cozumel,  IMHO, is to buy Vanilla..

I can buy Mexican vanilla online from my favorite provider of herbs and spices for a whole lot less than booking a cruise.

So true but booking a cruise is so much more fun..and makes a great story
